RCSCC Brilliant holds its Annual Ceremonial Review.

The cadets demonstrated what they had learned and achieved throughout the year through both dynamic and static displays, as well as an awards ceremony

On Friday, May 31, Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps Brilliant celebrated it's 76th Annual Ceremonial Review.

The cadets and their families gathered to celebrate a year of hard work and accomplishments.

Commodore Steve Waddell, Director General Naval Strategic Readiness, attended as the Reviewing Officer.

The cadets demonstrated what they had learned and achieved throughout the year through both dynamic and static displays, as well as an awards ceremony.

Several of cadets received prestigious awards, including Chief Petty Officer Second Class Emily McLaren receiving the Lord Strathcona Medal, as well as Petty  Officer First Class Joseph Guillemette receiving the Navy League Award of Excellence.

Several other corps-based awards were also handed out. 

The occasion also saw Commodore Waddell preside over the change of command between Lt(N) Nadine Leblond and Lt(N) Lorie Hall.
