Several local small businesses are banding together through sponsorship and volunteering their time to raise funds to help the West Ferris Legion Branch 599 get a new roof for their building.
"Raise the Roof" goes on Saturday, Sept. 7 at 30 Legion Dr. in North Bay. The fundraising goal is $40,000.
Tickets are $20 each and the night's events include brisket sandwiches for dinner with sides, live music, and a silent auction.
The live entertainment kicks off at 5:30 p.m., followed by Josh Dimmel at 7, and Gary Davison at 8:15, before The Broome Turners take the stage at 9:30 p.m.
