Powassan Sirens event well attended

They are looking for members of the community to serve as volunteers with the police to assist with a variety of duties

On October 11, OPP North Bay Detachment participated in the Sirens event at 250 Clark Street in Powassan along with Powassan Fire Department and EMS. The event was well attended by people of all ages says an OPP news release.

Constable Rob Mondor was there with his two service dogs. He spoke to the community about his dogs and life as a canine officer.  

Three OPP Auxiliary Officers also attended and were recruiting for the OPP Auxiliary Program. They are looking for members of the community to serve as volunteers with the police to assist with a variety of duties.
