Powassan Fall Fair photos

Zac Sullivan wins most points by a boy in the fair

The 124th Powassan Fall Fair, presented by the Powassan Agricultural Society, continued a long-standing Labour Day weekend tradition.

These photos were submitted pretty late, but we felt the kids deserved the recognition.

Zac Sullivan wins most points by a boy in the fair.  He receives a $40 gift card for Indigo, Chapters, and Coles sponsored by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 453.

Jessica Loxton won for a girl and receives the same prize.  She couldn’t attend the awards ceremony on Oct 18.

Mapleridge school won the trophy for most points at the fair. These students attend Mapleridge and accepted the trophy. Unfortunately, no names were submitted so if you know these kids, please use the comments section.

The awards night was October 18.

The two-day fair began with a parade and opening ceremonies, followed by live music, wildlife artifacts, and interactive activities, heavy horse pulls, inflatables for the kids, a demolition derby and vendors throughout the weekend.
