Police arrest 19 over the weekend.

Two people were charged with one count of robbery using firearm; one count of trafficking marijuana and one count of breach of probation.

Over the weekend, the North Bay Police Service responded to 225 calls for service, and arrested and charged 19 people with the following offences:

  • Two people were charged with one count of robbery using firearm; one count of trafficking marijuana and one count of breach of probation;
  • One person was charged with one count of criminal harassment and one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle;
  • One person was charged with one count of invitation to sexual touching and one count of sexual interference.
  • Two people were charged with one count of robbery with violence, one count of assault with a weapon, one count of aggravated assault and one count of possession of marijuana;
  • One person was charged with one count of robbery with violence, one count of possession of marijuana and one count of breach of probation.
  • Five people were charged with public intoxication;
  • One person was charged with impaired driving;
  • A young person was charged with one count of possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking; one count of property obtained by crime (cash) and one count of breach of probation;
  • One person was charged with one count of domestic assault, one count of uttering threats and one count of breach of probation;
  • One person was charged with three counts of domestic assault and one count of mischief under $5,000;
  • One person was charged with domestic mischief under $5,000;
  • One person was charged with domestic mischief under $5000, domestic assault and unlawfully in a dwelling house; and
  • One person was charged with one count of uttering threats and one count of breach of recognizance.
