The first exhibit of the year at the Alex Dufresne Gallery is reaching its end.

“Art Is An Interpretation And It’s Personal” features the artistic community of King’s Art World and is in its final week of being on display. The exhibit explores each of the 32 student artists’ personal art journey as they use the skills and techniques they have learned through the classes they are taking at King’s Framing and Gallery.

From the show statement: “Art can be powerful as it is a vehicle for the expression of emotions and ideas. It inspires us to look at the world through a new lens… Art happens when what is seen becomes mixed with the inside of the person who is seeing it.”

The Alex Dufresne Gallery will be open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with Saturday being the last day the exhibit will be on display.

It is located at 107 Lansdowne St. E. in Callander.
