An Englehart woman, who was stopped by Temiskaming OPP for a traffic infraction in Englehart is being brought to North Bay.
Yesterday around 4 p.m. OPP the vehicle and preliminary investigation revealed that the driver was wanted on an outstanding warrant from North Bay.
The driver, a 23-year-old resident of Englehart is charged with using a licence plate not authorized for her vehicle and transferred to the North Bay Police Service on the strength of the warrant.
The passenger, a 25-year-old resident of Englehart has also been charged with:
- Fail to apply for a permit on becoming the owner
- Permit the use of a plate not authorized for the vehicle
- Permit the motor vehicle to be operated without insurance
