The Nipissing NDP Riding Association is hosting an event with Chris Glover, MPP Spadina-Fort York and Official Opposition Critic for Colleges and Universities Monday evening.
This event is open to the public and will be held at 5 p.m. at Lou Dawgs, 176 Main St W.
“This is an excellent opportunity for people to hear Mr. Glover speak to the relevant issues of the day at Queens Park, the impact these issues have on the Nipissing district, and respond to questions from the floor”, states NDP provincial riding association president Rob Boulet.
Attendees will hear from Glover and the floor will be opened for a facilitated Q&A.
This visit will conclude his visit to the Nipissing area after meeting with other relevant College, University, and union representatives.
Glover recently spoke out on the Canadore College situation, calling on President George Burton to remove the individual who is the focus of an independent investigator from the workplace. That report is expected to be delivered to the executive committee on Feb. 14.
