(WEST PARRY SOUND, ON) – On August 18, 2015 at approximately 5:35 a.m. members of the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a call where a homeowner chased a youth out of his residence on Church Street in Parry Sound. Subsequent investigation resulted in the apprehension of a suspect.
The investigation determined that the youth had entered insecure residences and possibly vehicles taking various items from within. OPP have recovered numerous items and have not determined the owners. Police are looking for information from the public in regards to the owners of the property. The vigilance of our community partners to watch for and promptly report suspicious persons, vehicles, and activities is a key component in preventing and solving crime.
