The West Parry Sound Detachment of the OPP is continuing to investigate a collision involving two motor vehicles on Highway 69 in Britt - Byng Inlet. The collision occurred at approximately 8 a.m. today, November 5.
Police confirm one occupant involved in the collision was pronounced dead. Further information may be released after next of kin notifications have been completed.
The investigation is being conducted by the West Parry Sound Detachment and the North East Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Unit.
Highway 69 is now opened to through traffic.
