MPP Vic Fedeli is inviting nominations from the community for the Ontario Medal for Good Citizenship.

The Ontario Medal for Good Citizenship represents the second highest civilian honour in Ontario. Established in 1973, it recognizes those who, through exceptional, long-term efforts, have made outstanding contributions to community life across the province.

"Those selected for this honour embody the values we hold dear, inspire and challenge other citizens of this province, and demonstrate a passion to give for the benefit of others," says Fedeli in a news release. "Past recipients have come from all walks of life, and from every corner of our province."

The closing date for nominations is November 15. Recipients will be invested by the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario at a ceremony to be held at Queen’s Park in winter 2019.
