"Supporting the community is an important commitment from One Plant North Bay," says Cassandra West, Manager.

The company held an in-store fundraiser for Nipissing Serenity Hospice, a residential hospice located in North Bay. It provides quality, compassionate, and holistic end-of-life palliative care.

Their services are free and they rely on donations to cover 50 per cent of their operating costs.

"It is the intention of the One Plant North Bay fundraiser to create community awareness and donate to this important cause," says West.

From February 7th to 15th, One Plant North Bay hosted in-store activities and a Plinko board game that guaranteed that everyone that donated won a piece of swag or accessories. All proceeds of the fundraiser went directly to Nipissing Serenity Hospice.

"As a team, we thought about how we could bring awareness about this organization and support the families they serve as well as make donating fun for those visiting our store. As dedicated community members, we are doing everything we can to be productive contributors to this great region," added West.
