North Bay ON: The Nipissing District Housing Registry will be moving from its current location on Lakeshore Drive to the main floor of North Bay City Hall at 200 McIntyre Street East, North Bay. The registry’s new office will be open for business starting on April 14, 2015 from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

The Nipissing District Housing Registry is a centralized application centre managing the waiting list for some social housing providers providing rent-geared-to-income assistance as well as market rent units in the Nipissing District.  The new office will allow the organization to be more accessible to new and existing clients.

“The Nipissing District Housing Registry Inc. is committed to improving customer service through collaboration with our community partners,” says Nipissing District Housing Registry Board Chair, Marianne Rinker. “The move to City Hall is just one step towards achieving our vision of increased accessibility, community awareness and improved technology.”

“The move makes sense from the DNSSAB’s perspective because we work so closely with the registry,” says Debbie Mills, Director of Housing with the District of Nipissing Social Services Administration Board. “The new location is central, wheelchair accessible, and is home to other services citizens may need to access.”
