Angelle Martel-Davies has been appointed principal at École publique Héritage in North Bay.

She will be assuming her new duties as of August 1.

"Mrs. Martel-Davies has shown her outstanding leadership qualities at CSPNE as Principal of Programs JK to Grade 6, since 2012," says a news release from the board.

"She has played an active role in student success by working closely with school principals as well as education and teaching teams. In addition, she was both interim Principal and Vice-Principal of École publique Héritage from September 2010 to June 2012. Mrs. Martel-Davies’ experience, skills and vision will certainly be an asset as principal to support not only the school staff but also the students in achieving their goals."

Martel-Davies will be replacing Pascale Pellerin who announced her departure in March as well as Mrs. Pauline Lacroix who accepted the interim Principal’s position to complete the current school year.
