Latitude 46 Publishing, the Sudbury-based literary press, is picking up steam as the pandemic mandates are lifted. On Saturday, June 18 it launched North Bay author Rod Carley’s third book, Grin Reaping.

The book is being very well received according to a release. “These are stories shot through with a current of grief and loss, and populated with unforgettable characters who, despite their clever jokes and quirky worldviews, are authentic, vulnerable, and wholly human,” says Amy Jones, author of We’re All in This Together, shortlisted for the Leacock Medal for Humour.

Carley’s previous novel, Kinmount, was longlisted for the 2021 Leacock Medal for Humour and a Silver medalislt for Best Regional Fiction (Canada East) by the 2021 Independent Publisher Book Awards.
