 A neighbours' dispute turned nasty recently when a knife was pulled.

Temiskaming OPP say that on August 10, at 4:30 p.m., they were called to a neighbour dispute in Temiskaming Shores. 

Investigation revealed that the aggressor entered the victim's apartment while holding a knife. After a fight, the victim escaped his home.   

Dean Gagnon, 58, of Temiskaming Shores was arrested and charged with:

  • Unlawfully in a dwelling house,
  • Uttering threats - cause death, 
  • Assault with a weapon, and
  • Mischief - damages property.

Gagnon has been released on a Promise to Appear with conditions and is scheduled to attend the court on September 17 in Temiskaming Shores.
