On August 3rd, officers with the West Nipissing Police Service were investigating a traffic complaint about a vehicle being driven erratically.
The officers found the vehicle near Park Street in Sturgeon Falls.
When questioned by the police the driver of the vehicle provided a false name. Officers were able to determine the man’s true identity and discovered that he was, in fact, a suspended driver.
The man was arrested and police then seized 1,000 Methamphetamine pills and Canadian currency from the vehicle.
Chad Rowe, 44, of Sudbury now faces charges of:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking in a controlled substance,
- possession of property obtained by crime,
- obstruct police and
- drive while under suspension.
