Mattawa Rockets trying to pay it forward. Can you help?

Good Day everyone, I am a proud member of the Mattawa Rockets executives as well as a coach for the Novice team.

This winter we would like to pay it forward and give back to our community and we need your help!!

Our plan is to collect donated items over the next couple weeks for residents of our local nursing home. Once we have collected the items we are going to come together as a group and the children are going to wrap the presents so we can bring them to the nursing home close to Christmas.

Keeping in mind that the residents do not have big rooms we ask that any items donated be small.

Some of the ideas for items we have are handmade blankets, lip balms, crossword puzzles, hand creams, hair brushes, shampoos, and conditioner. I will be in contact with more gift ideas with the staff of the nursing home over the next few days and update this list.

I will also be setting up a donation box at the arena early next week. If you are unable to make it to the arena and would like to donate something please contact me.

I have had an ok response so far but am not even halfway to my goal and time is running out.
