North Bay Public Library Children’s Department is gearing up to host a variety of events for the upcoming March Break.
The Public Library has great programs to enjoy whether it’s snowing, raining or the sun is shining.
"We have several different fun and educational events you won’t want to miss," says a news release.
Monday, March 11, Knitting for Families
- 2 – 3:30 p.m. in the Children’s Storyroom. Ages 6 & up.
Learn how to knit using just your fingers and hands!
$3 per child or $5 per family

Tuesday, March 12, Colour Day!
- All day in the Children’s Department. All Ages. Free Event
Join the fun and help us decorate our new rocket playhouse and posters. It’ll be a blast!
Tuesday March 12. Scientist in the Kitchen
- 1:30 - 3 p.m. in the Children’s Storyroom. Ages 8 to 12
Explore the possibilities of simple kitchen ingredients to be transformed in the Scientist’s workshop.

Thursday, March 14. Be a Detective… Follow the Clues!
- 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. in the Children’s Storyroom. Ages 4 and up

There are mysteries in stories to solve, messages to decode and Crafts to assemble.
