North Bay Police have charged a motorist under the Highway Traffic Act following an investigation into a two-vehicle collision which occurred yesterday morning on Oak Street East.
Police report that at approximately 7:35 a.m. on Thursday, December 11th, a driver of a car travelling eastbound on Oak Street East went through a green light at Wyld Street while the driver of a pickup truck travelling southbound on Wyld went through a red light, striking the car, which in turn hit the side of an Oak Street building located at the intersection.
Injuries reported were minor.
Police charged the motorist of the pickup truck, a 47-year old male resident of Rutherglen, Ontario, with disobey lane light.
