Local woman passes in Cuba

O’Connor, Yvonne (nee Taylor) – In her 59th year, Yvonne passed away in her sleep while on vacation with her husband in Varadero Cuba on Friday December 26th, 2014. Beloved wife of Chris O’Connor of North Bay.

O’Connor, Yvonne (nee Taylor) – In her 59th year, Yvonne passed away in her sleep while on vacation with her husband in Varadero Cuba on Friday December 26th, 2014.

Beloved wife of Chris O’Connor of North Bay. She is survived by her 3 own beloved children John Grant, Shane Grant & Katie Palframan all of North Bay and her step-children who all knew her as Mom. She was the daughter of Pauline and the late Edwin Taylor. She will be sadly missed by her 11 grandchildren to whom she was known as Gammie: Aiden, Ronan, Lily, Calum, Jaxon, Jacob, Parker, Dawson, Landon, Maddix and Lilah. Also survived by her sister Linda Duff (Harold) of Monetville and her brother Geoff Taylor (Yvonne) of North Bay as well as many, many friends and close relatives near and abroad. Born in Northern Ireland, Yvonne has spent the past 45 years residing in North Bay. She was the highly valued Business Manager at North Bay Toyota.
