If you are interested in local sports and history, or if you know someone who is, an interesting Christmas present could be a copy of the new book called "Flashbacks".
The engaging volume has a lot of local heritage and sports pictures along with seven local sports tales.
One of those stories is the history of the OHL North Bay Centennials, put together for the first time by author Pete Handley.
All proceeds from the book go to the North Bay Sports Hall of Fame, a registered charity.
The book is available at Gullivers. Discovery Museum, Memorial Gardens and City Hall Parks and Rec office.
