The City of North Bay will be Live Streaming Council Meetings starting on Monday March 2, 2015.

Deputy Mayor Sheldon Forgette expressed his thoughts on utilizing technology to provide North Bay residents with a new method of staying connected with activities within our Community, stating "I'm very excited to be able to have our Council Meetings streamed online.  This is only the beginning of some of the innovative ways I want to see our City move forward with to interact with our citizens."

Councillor Mike Anthony, who was instrumental in achieving live streaming for North Bay Council Meetings, stated "I'm very pleased to see this finally come to reality, at very, very minimal cost to the Taxpayer. It gives so many more people access to what goes on at their Council Meetings from their computer or the palm of their hand.  While we will use a static camera view to keep costs down, Cogeco provides great dynamic TV coverage every week.  And, I specifically want to thank Cogeco for the great coverage they have given and will continue to give as part of their public and news programming."
