The generous ladies from the Empire Living Centre have been knitting scarfs, toques, mitts and socks all year and on Tuesday, December 20th,  donated everything to LIPI in North Bay.

The North Bay Fire & Emergency Servies were on hand to help package the 722 pieces of knitted items and delivered them to LIPI.

Fire Fighters also donated $500 towards the LIPI Toy Drive.

The ladies seem much like Santa's elves as they start their knitting for next Christmas on January 3rd.

The ladies at the Empire accept wool donations to help with their knitting.
