The Callander Bay Heritage Museum & Alex Dufresne Gallery are invite you and your family this Saturday the 15th from 2 to 4 pm to celebrate the closing of “Reveries”, a solo exhibition by North Bay artist Eric Euler.
Eric’s show consists of 25 unique monotypes that reflect a transformation that occurs when confronting one’s own accumulation of fears and desires. From the artist: “My emotive energy adorns this oeuvre of imaginative and expressive prints; the personal narratives, however, don’t reveal themselves. Instead, transfiguring vessels lie in their place, swollen, and offering a sense of renewal”.
The show has received high praise from local artists and has been well-received. Eric will be exhibiting next in Hamilton in August.
We will have light refreshments and the museum will be free as well. If you can’t make it this weekend the show will still be up on Thursday April 20 and Friday April 21. It comes down Saturday April 22.
