It gives us great pleasure to invite the community to First Annual United Way community Breakfast.
Friday October 16th, Blue Room, AYR Mess, CFB North Bay- 17 Duxford rd. Door open at 7:00 am Breakfast Buffet at 7:30am till 9:00 am $20.00 dollars per person or $150 dollars table of 8. All proceeds donated to Nipissing United Way.
The partnership between United Way and Canadian Labour Congress dates back to 1978. More than 260 similar partnerships are in place throughout Canada and the United States.
Henri Giroux president North Bay and District Labour council says “the labour movement remains committed to the vision of a compassionate society. We look forward to working with United Way in meeting urgent human needs and maintaining our vision. Our contributions and volunteer time are essential to the success of United Way”.
Workplace campaigns continue to be the major source of revenue for United Way. Increasing campaign totals show that our sense of mutual responsibility survives intact.
North Bay and District Labour Council would like to thank all unionized workers who continue to recognize the importance of United Way in our community with their contributions.
