Lynne Gauthier of Kirkland Lake is $100,000 richer after winning the top prize with INSTANT WILD CARD.

Lynne, a 63-year-old personal support worker, said she thought she was dreaming when she played her ticket in the store.

“I saw the win on the first line with the matching amount and started talking to myself saying, ‘Really? Am I dreaming this? When I looked around the store and realized no one else was in there other than myself and the clerk who knows me, I shouted, ‘I’m a winner!’ and we both started to celebrate. It was such a wonderful experience.”

While at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto, Lynne said, “I am still in disbelief and overwhelmed with happiness. I’ve never seen this many zeroes on a cheque in my life! Today is my birthday – this gift will be tough to beat!” she laughed.

She plans to save some of her win for retirement and will complete some home renovations. “I have a new kitchen and bathroom coming my way and I am just thrilled!” she smiled.

The winning ticket was purchased at Mac’s on Government Road in Kirkland Lake.
