City Council has authorized the City to enter into an agreement with the Ontario Ministry of Transportation for funding through the Ontario Municipal Cycling Infrastructure Program (OMCIP) to support the Kate Pace Way Trail Extension from Memorial Drive to Gormanville Rd.
In March 2016 the City was approved for $325,000 in funding from OMCIP to support the extension to the Kate Pace Way.
Work is currently on-going to determine the preferred route the proposed extension would take and public consultation will take place before the route is finalized.
