On September 7, Kirkland Lake OPP responded to a report of numerous people fighting on Government Road West in Kirkland Lake.
Police arrived to find three youth with non-life threatening injuries.
Further investigation revealed that the victims were confronted and assaulted by an intoxicated adult who was later arrested and charged. The victims were treated at a local hospital and released.
Andrew Neville, 28, from Kirkland Lake, was charged with:
- Two counts of assault
- Assault causing bodily harm
- Causing a disturbance
- Being intoxicated in a public place
Neville is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kirkland Lake, on October 10.
