A new sport is taking over North Bay!

It looks like tennis, sounds like ping pong and has the quick action of badminton......it's Pickleball.

Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in North America says a news release from the local club.

"It is easy to learn, great for all ages and you can play right here in North Bay. If you played tennis, squash or racketball but find it's hard on your knees, ankles, and hips you've got to try Pickleball. It is just as fast-paced and challenging without the pressure on your body."

The North Bay Pickleball Club is hosting an information session for all residents in and around North Bay.

If you want to find out more about this fun game and where you can play join us:

  • Monday October 30th at Canadore College, Commerce Court Campus gym from 9:30-11:30 a.m. or
  • Algonquin high school gym at 7 p.m.
