With restrictions finally in the rearview mirror, the North Bay Museum is now shifting into high gear with programming for visitors of all ages.

During the month of May, toddler drop-in programming is offered every Wednesday morning from 10am-noon. For the cost of museum admission ($4 for adults, free for toddlers), participants can complete toddler-friendly crafts and games while exploring the museum.

The museum has also partnered with the North Bay Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) to offer a free drop-in event in honour of the 125th anniversary of the VON on May 25th from 10 am- 2: pm. The museum’s collection of VON uniforms, photos, and artifacts will be on display for the occasion and visitors will have a chance to celebrate with our local nurses.

In-person tours and educational programs are now available upon request with options available here.

School groups are encouraged to combine a museum visit with a trip to the Heritage Train and Carousel which can also be booked by calling the museum at 705-476-2323.

Art, Myth busters, and Time Travel themed summer camps will run from July 25th- August 19th for children ages 6-12. Through art, games, music, history, and more, we provide our campers with opportunities to learn in a variety of hands-on ways.
