On June 24, shortly after 5 p.m., officers with the East Algoma OPP, Crime Unit and the Forensic Identification Services responded to a report of human remains in a wooded area on the Mississauga First Nation territory.
Upon arrival at the scene, the officers located human remains which were transported to the Office of the Chief Coroner in Sudbury where a forensic post mortem examination will be completed Wednesday.
The OPP says further information will be provided only as it becomes available.
