[North Bay, ON] The North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation (NBRHCF) is pleased to announce that our Hospital is one of the 30 finalists for the Aviva Community Fund Grant, receiving more than 12,000 votes from our community and beyond.
“We are extremely excited and grateful to our community for voting for our Aviva Community Fund Grant project for Cancer Care at the Health Centre,” says Tammy Morison, President & CEO, NBRHC Foundation. “Not only do we have a chance to fully fund a colposcope, but we are automatically receiving a $5,000 grant just for making it to the finals.” Morison explains that a colposcope is used to screen and treat women with cervical cancer in our community.
