Highway 17 W near Wawa remains closed as of 9 a.m. Monday after an accident Sunday.
At approximately 10:19 p.m. yesterday, members of the OPP Wawa Detachment responded to a fatal motor vehicle collision located on Highway 17 approximately 15 kilometres south of Wawa in the Lendrum Township District of Algoma.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators are assisting with this investigation.
Highway 17 remains closed in both directions and there is no timeframe for reopening.
No word on any detours.
