Cynthia Ramsay of Haileybury is $50,000 richer after winning with INSTANT DOUBLE DIAMOND.

This is Cynthia’s second win this year – she won $250,000 with LOTTARIO on June 20.

“We buy tickets in hopes of winning. Once is a blessing, twice is…well, I don’t know! It was a complete shock!” she said while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings.

The 60-year-old mother said she was on her way to pick up friends for a Saturday morning farmers market outing when she was running a bit early. “I sat in my car and was scratching my ticket to pass the time. As I uncovered the symbols, I kept saying OMG, OMG, OMG.”

Cynthia drove home to wake her husband and tell him the news. “He jumped out of bed to see the ticket for himself and said ‘Unbelievable!’”

She has no plans for her windfall at this time. “This is going to be saved for a rainy day.”

The winning ticket was purchased at Mike’s One Stop on Rorke Avenue in Haileybury.
