A West Nipissing man faces multiple charges after a woman claimed she was inappropriately touched during a fitness class in that town.
The incident happened in December of last year in West Nipissing.
Then on May 21, 2019, the police arrested a man in connection to the complaint.
Police say the investigation involved a volunteer inappropriately touching a female student during fitness classes.
Charged is Robert Villeneuve, 51.
Villeneuve now faces three counts of sexual assault and eight counts of assault on a young female victim.
Villeneuve was released on a promise to appear and an undertaking.
