Fishing supplies and ice auger among items stolen in break and enters

Someone caused some damage to the house and stole numerous items

On Thursday, April 16, Almaguin Highlands OPP investigated a break enter and theft at a Strong Township residence. Police believe it occurred sometime between Friday, April 10 and Wednesday, April 15. 

Someone caused some damage to the house and stole:

  • chainsaw,
  • whipper snipper,
  • some hunting and fishing supplies,
  • television
  • several tools,
  • 15 horsepower boat motor,
  • survival suit 
  • ice auger.

Meanwhile, that same day police investigated a break, enter and theft to an Ontario Street residence in nearby Burk's Falls.

Sometime between 9:15 a.m. and 5 p.m. someone entered the residence and stole $50.
