Four summer job positions are available with the Ontario Provincial Police within the North East region.

Four positions of Community Policing Assistant will be available in 2025 for the OPP in the North East region, located in North Bay, Sudbury, Timmins and Parry Sound. 

To be eligible to participate in the Summer Employment Opportunities (SEO) Program, students must be: 

  • Currently enrolled in a secondary or post-secondary institution or graduated no earlier than December 2024.
  • Living in Ontario during their summer placement.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Ability to pass an OPP background security clearance
  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • You must have a valid Ontario G2 Driver's Licence or equivalent (or higher)
