A workshop called "Preventing violence and harassment in the workplace -- what the law says," aims to help those facing difficulties at work.
The one-hour lunch and learn information session is presented by Workplace Safety North.
In this session presented by a legal expert, you’ll learn:
- Law regarding violence and harassment in the workplace
- Key legal definitions of violence, harassment, and sexual harassment
- Continuum of behaviours
- The duty of employers, supervisors, and workers
- Resource links will also be provided
