West Parry Sound OPP are reporting a drowning on Wahwashkesh Lake in Whitestone Township, west of Sundridge Saturday.
Investigation revealed witnesses saw a boat adrift and found personal belongings and two dogs on the shore.
The OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit found the body which was identified as Peter Swartzentruber, 62, of Brant County, Ontario.
The investigation is ongoing under the direction of the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service (OCC-OFPS).
Also assisting were the detachment Marine Unit, OPP Aviation Services, and the Whitestone Fire Services.
