Driver faces impaired charges

On Saturday, August 11, at approximately 1:57 a.m., North Bay OPP officers were conducting Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere checks on Highway 63 at Trout Lake Road in North Bay.

Officers checked a vehicle and determined that the male driver had been consuming alcoholic beverages. A further investigation revealed that the male was prohibited from driving a motor vehicle.

 As a result, Abraham Kamerman, 45, of Phelps Township, Ontario has been charged with:

  • Driving With More than 80 mg of Alcohol in Blood and with
  • Driving While Disqualified - Court Order (two counts)
