The North Bay Police Service responded to 99 domestic occurrences over the month of March 2015. Of these occurrences, 23 involved charges being laid.
17 men were arrested and charged. The charges were:
· 16 assault
· five criminal harassment
· three mischief to property
· one assault with a weapon
· one breach of recognizance
· 10 fail to comply with a probation order
· one harassing phone call
6 women were arrested and charged. The charges were:
· four assault
· two assault with a weapon
· four fail to comply
· one assault bodily harm
· one mischief to property
