Cops involved in "Big Ticket"

North Bay Police, including Chief Paul Cook and the Service’s colour party, will be joining local police colleagues from OPP North Bay and the Military Police, to help with fundraising efforts for the OHL Big Ticket Night in support of Special Olympics Ontario.

The OHL game between the North Bay Battalion and the Hamilton Bulldogs takes place tonight, (Thursday) at Memorial Gardens at 7 p.m.

Officers will be participating in the annual "Bucket Pass for Special Olympics" during the second period.

The Ontario Hockey League and the North Bay Battalion are proud sponsors of the annual Big Ticket Night in support of Special Olympics Ontario. All funds raised go to Special Olympics Ontario, who will then distribute the funds back to our local Special Olympics programs.

There will be three signed NHL sweaters available for auction at the game, in the North Concourse:

  • Scott Hartnell (no. 43) signed Columbus Blue Jackets sweater
  • Blank Nashville Predators sweater, signed by James Neal
