As a result of the warrant being executed, police seized suspected cocaine, crystal meth, Fentanyl, Oxycodone, Hydromorphone, heroin and purple Fentanyl during a Temiskaming Shores bust May 10.

The estimated street value of the drugs seized is approximately $26,000.

Police also seized $8,000 cash.

Chad Lamoureux, 28, from Temiskaming Shores was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - Opioid (other than heroin),
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - Cocaine, 
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - other drugs, three counts,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - Heroin, 

Octavia Roberge,19-year-old female from Temiskaming Shores was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - Opioid (other than heroin), two counts,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - Cocaine, 
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - other drugs, three counts, and
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - Heroin.

The accused were released on a Promise to Appear and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, in Temiskaming Shores on June 11.

Officers from Ontario Provincial Police North East Region Community Street Crimes Unit, OPP's Temiskaming Crime Unit, Emergency Response Team, Tactical Canine Unit and the Temiskaming Detachment, executed the drug search warrant on Whitewood Avenue in Temiskaming Shores.
