City gets $5,482,850 in local infrastructure funding

OCIF provides funding to eligible communities to help them address critical infrastructure needs, including road, bridge, water and wastewater projects

Provincial funding delivered through the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund (OCIF) will see North Bay get over $5m. It's part of overall grants of $400 million in 2023.

"It's helping our local municipalities build and repair the vital infrastructure they need to keep their communities working for decades to come,” said MPP Vic Fedeli.

Funding allocations are based on a formula that recognizes the different needs and economic conditions of communities.
