At approximately 2:50 p.m., on August 7, North Bay OPP officers were called to investigate a motor vehicle collision at Highway 11/17 and O'Brien Street in North Bay.
The two-vehicle head-on collision resulted in one driver being brought to the hospital for minor injuries. That driver, Cody Patrick Heins, 31, of North Bay, was charged with::
- Owner operates motor vehicle on a highway - no insurance,
- Amber light - fail to stop, and
- Operation while prohibited.
Heins has been released and is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice on September 3, in North Bay.
