What is This About?
Catherine Murton Stoehr wants to give you strong, smart, practical representation. She wants you to come to the NDP’s nomination meeting in North Bay on November 13th and vote for her to be the party’s official nominee for Nipissing-Timiskaming.
The people of Nipissing-Timiskaming want their real ambitions, concerns and plans fought for in Ottawa. Catherine is a history professor, a mom, and a union supporter. She can talk, listen, and dig in.

Can She Deliver?
Catherine has been an active member of her union for the last 8 years, sitting on the executve and the collective bargaining committee. She began doing community organizing for left politics five years ago, organizing 6 successful events in the North Bay area. For the last three years she has served on the NDP Riding Association executive. She has collaborated with the Union of Ontario Indians to host public reconcilliation events and has published op-eds on practical steps average Canadians can take to build reconciliation.

Canadians agree that we need a course correction on government conduct, the environment, the economy, and our international obligations. Thomas Mulcair’s NDP have the courage, experience, and determination to lead us down a new path. Justin Trudeau’s Liberals lack the will to stand up to international corporate interests and the culture of cynicism and political helplessness they create. Mulcair will reinvigorate our democracy and return Canada to its place as a just and prudent nation.
