Car hits school bus

The OPP Sudbury Detachment has investigated 45 collisions since Nov 1

On November 19, at approximately 2:15 p.m., OPP Sudbury officers were called to a motor vehicle collision on Hwy 144 in Chelmsford involving a car and a school bus.

A white Chrysler traveling northbound veered into the oncoming lane striking a school bus traveling southbound. The driver of the Chrysler was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. There were no children on the bus at the time of the collision.

The OPP Sudbury Detachment has investigated 45 collisions since Nov 1. Police are reminding motorists to drive according to weather conditions.
