Cambrian College looking for alumni

Cambrian College will host a special evening of refreshments and camaraderie to celebrate the contributions and achievements of its graduates.

Cambrian College will host a special evening of refreshments and camaraderie to celebrate the contributions and achievements of its graduates.

Speakers will include President Bill Best and Suzanne Bernier, an emergency communications expert and graduate of the College.

“Our graduates are impressive – they work in all sectors all over the world – so this is our chance to check in with them and to let them know we value their contributions,” Best says.

“As we kick off our strategic planning process, this is also an ideal opportunity to engage our graduates. We’re eager to know what they think about Cambrian and how they see the College evolving over the next five years.”

Since its inception in 1967, Cambrian has graduated more than 50,000 students from approximately 980 full- and part-time programs.

Students and staff will be present at the event to speak with guests about current programs and opportunities for professional development.

The alumni appreciation event takes place Thursday, October 16 from 6-8 p.m. in the College’s eDome. Guided tours of the campus will take place following the soirée.

If you are an alumnus or know an alumnus, please ask him/her to contact the Alumni Relations office at +1 705-566-8101, ext. 7414 or [email protected].

This is a free event, but attendees are asked to RSVP by Tuesday, October 7.
