OPP are investigating a break and enter that occurred Saturday in Mattawa.

It happened just after 6 a.m. when the Mattawa Detachment of the OPP got an alarm call at a business on McConnell Street. 

"Officers attended to find the front door kicked open," said Constable Shona Camirand. "Investigation revealed that the alarm sounded scaring away the suspect."
